As a shooter the hardest part is putting the shot up after doing a load of court work to gain the ball. Shooters need to know how to move then shoot in a game so should practice in the same fashion, instead of just taking shots in a static position.
Start practicing movement before taking a shot by doing shuttles, change of direction drills etc, followed by some shots. This will teach you how to relax and shoot while fatigued. Get someone to practice with you as a passer to feed the ball into you after doing movement.
